About Us

Duniya Dance Academy was founded in 2001. We boast two professional studios at our large Surrey location. Our studios are complete with mirrors, ballet bars and engineered oak floors.We are home of the famous Duniya Allstars Bhangra team who have won first places at countless competitions across Canada and the USA! Recently, we have partnered with Shai (the director of the Academy of Cre8ive Arts), to offer his cutting edge style of dance to Duniya.
Services

Dance Classes are all $35.00 per month
We offer: Bollywood, Hiphop, Bhangra, Contemporary
Dhol Classes are all $40.00 per month
We take all students ages 3+
Staff

We pride ourselves in having the best staff in the Indian Dance Industry who have been involved in our Academy for 10+ years
Navi: Bhangra/Bollywood Instructor (teaches Saturdays)
Reena: Bhangra/Bollywood Instructor (teaches Mondays)
Tamara: Hiphop/Bollywood/Bhangra Instructor (teaches Tuesdays)
Mike: Bhangra Instructor (teaches Thursdays)
Raju: Dhol Instructor (teaches Sundays)
Shai: Contemporary, Lyrical Instructor (teaches Sundays)
Nilum: Founder and Director (teaches Thursdays & Saturdays)
Class & Recital Information

Classes are one hour and once per week.
We host two recitals per year (in May & November).
The next recital is scheduled for May 11, 2012 at the Surrey Arts Centre Theatre from 6-9PM. Tix are $15.00
The January - May 2012 Semester is now full but please call us to reserve your spot for next Semester!
