Duniya Dance Academy was founded in 2001 by Nilum Sidhho & Tanya Francis

"Duniya" means world and we try to offer as many styles of dance as we can.

The Duniya Youth Council is a group of teens at Duniya who: fundraise, volunteer and help our local

We do not provide entertainment at events where alcohol is served.

Our classes run on a 5 month semester based system: January - May AND July - November with dance recitals at the end of each semester.

We have two professional dance studios, specially equipped, for all the styles of dance we offer.

We are home to the Duniya Allstars Bhangra Team: 1st place winners of Bhangra Idols 2005, South Beach Bhangra Miami 2006, Boston Bhangra 2006, Bhangra Allstars 2007, VIBC 2008, Bhangra Fusion Detroit 2008.

Our Dance Teams are selected to perform at many events such as: Whitecaps games, Desifest, Sawan Mela, 2010 Olympic Torch Relay celebrations etc. 

Last year, Duniya Dance Academy was invited to perform at the Canada Day Celebrations in Ottawa on Parliament Hill. It was a fully paid for trip that our dancers enjoyed thoroughly!

Shai from Cr8ive Arts offers classes in Contemporary, Jazz and Hip hop at our studios!
